Robert Salvador
CEO & CO-FOUNDER
Rob Salvador is the visionary driving force behind DigiBuild, an experienced builder, project manager and construction technologist.
After watching his father struggle as a small subcontractor in the construction industry, Robert eventually started his own construction company that grew into a nationwide commercial contractor. Rob’s experience and passion for construction eventually lead him to search for a better way to manage construction projects using technology. He started DigiBuild in early 2018 in order to revolutionize construction projects, profits, and people. He has managed over $500M in construction projects and was recently named to the list of “25 Rising Stars in Tech” By Crain’s Chicago Business. He is a frequent speaker and educator for groups like BuiltWorlds and the Construction Institute.


April Moss
CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER & CO-FOUNDER
April Moss is a market and retail strategy expert with more than 20 years of experience developing sales teams with some of the largest global companies, including Procter & Gamble and Starbucks. It was at Procter & Gamble where April and Rob met.
Prior to starting her career with P&G, she worked for the Construction Specification Institute in Washington D.C., fueling her interest in real estate development.
One of April’s passions is to make sure that as DigiBuild works to improve the construction process that it helps to relieve the burden on construction people and their families along the way.


Sam Johnson
CHIEF TECHNOLOGY OFFICER
Sam is a startup veteran having served as CTO or Chief Software Architect at numerous early to mid stage startups in the fintech, commercial real estate, online cloud storage, healthcare, and corporate learning spaces, including Arist (YC S20), Blockvue, and DuroSoft.
Sam is also a former DoD Scientist for the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport and has done compilers research for Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL) and AI research for the Naval Research Laboratory (NRL). Sam is a former recipient of the coveted NREIP and SMART DoD scholarships. He also holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Brown University and bachelors degrees in Computer Science and Philosophy from Dickinson College.

DigiBuild announced a $4 million seed round with investors:
YCombinator, Draper Associates, Harvard University, Picus Capital, Bluefield Capital (2x), Cathexis Ventures, MH Carnegie, YC Alum Fund, Emerging Ventures, Chain Reaction and multiple angel investors from the construction industry.
The round included strong signals from construction heavy hitters such as the cofounders of contech unicorn PlanGrid (YC W12, acquired $875M by Autodesk) and Build Technologies, a venture fund of major construction contractors.
